Only In San Francisco

Role: Interactive Media Consultant
For The San Francisco Visitors Bureau, we needed to create a site and identitiy that would reflect the diversity of San Francisco. One gem in the exploration phase was a hand made book containing paintings and poems from a local grade school. With help from the 4th grade class, I was able to record their voices and images for a simple rewarding interactive gallery.

Verizon

Role: Interaction Design Analyst
Verizon's Intranet services two hundred and fifty thousand employees integrating multiple sources of enterprise software connecting a diverse network of acquired businesses. As a consultant on the HR Portal re-design, I conducted a complete site audit and evaluation of site architecture, layout, navigation and user flow providing a detailed set of guidelines for overall content representation and organization.

Barclays Global Investors

Role: Interactive Media Consultant
Barclays was looking for a branded multi-media launch of a new investment tool, iShares. Working in parallel development timelines with multiple agencies (print, TV, brand), I planned and coordinated the the highly succesfull release of the iShares website, DVD and online information collateral.

Oracle Broadband Marketing

Role: Senior Internet Media Producer
The mantra at Oracle is self-service. The most effective system design makes the user a producer and owner of their own content. At Oracle, I designed a system by which product developers and owners, separated by geographical distance could collaborate on, animate, narrate, and publish Flash demonstrations of new enterprise software solutions. This simple process and tool shaved weeks off the time required for prior product demos.

The Webby Awards

Role: Senior Producer
One of the most talented and inspiring teams I have ever worked with was the creative team at Rare Medium San Francisco. At the time of the dot-com implosion, we were loosing members to layoffs on a weekly basis. At the same time, an opportunity came up to design the identity and event site for the Fifth Annual Webby Awards. Amid the stress of all loosing our jobs, I was able to keep a team together and deliver a cutting edge rich media site on time. It was an amazing team and one I keep in touch with to this day.
